Chris Ross wins the Commissioner’s Cup Best Player award

Chris Ross continues to improve his game and it’s been paying dividends for him.

The do-it-all guard won the Commissioner’s Cup Best Player of the Conference award last night. He amassed a total of 1,038 points from based on his statistics and press, player and league votes.

Ross averaged 12.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 2.5 steals a game. He shot the ball efficiently at a 52.7% clip. He also continued to brandish his much improved outside shot hitting a total of 16 treys in the elimination round at a 40% rate.

Currently in the Playoffs and the Finals, Ross has upped his game, averaging 15.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 9.7 assists.

Ross’ teammate Charles Rhodes took home the Best Import import award. He got 1,174 points based on the same method of stats and voting. Rhodes averaged 28.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in the elimination round. In the Playoffs and Finals he’s averaging 23.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
