Paras chose Creighton prior to the start of the 2016-17 NCAA Div. I season. He was previously committed to UCLA.
As a member of the Bluejays, the 6’6″ Paras averaged 4.7 minutes, 1.3 points, and 1.0 rebounds. He played in 14 regular season games, sitting in 20. He had a two-minute stint in the first round of the March Madness tournament when the result, a loss, was no longer in doubt.
Paras’ played a season-high 17 minutes in a rout of the Washington State Cougars, back in November 2016. However, he shot just 1-of-7 from the field, finishing with three points. His best scoring night was a six-point effort against the Longwood Lancers in December.
