The De La Salle Green Archers have their Final Four hopes on the line as we near the end of the elimination round in the UAAP. For some of them, they don’t even have an idea what that means. For others, just thinking about it might make them want to throw up in fear. Either way, they needed to hear from players that have been there before. Many times before.
The DLSU coaching staff decided that it would be good for the current team to run plays and play some 1-on-1 with former Green Archers. Arriving at the practice were some big names in the PBA that brought championships to Taft. Rico Maierhofer (Ginebra), JVee Casio (Alaska), JR Aquino (Air21), Joseph Yeo (Petron), TY Tang (Rain or Shine), and Mac Cardona (Meralco) not only practiced with the team, but also sat down with their younger brother Lasallians.
“Bonding lang, tsaka konting pointers para mahasa pagdating sa Final Four. Mas excited pa kami sa kanila sa Final Four eh,” explained Maierhofer. When asked on what he thought of standout rookie, Jeron Teng, “Magaling siya. Lahat naman sila magagaling. Dapat sama sama sila para champion this season.”
Teng was quick to show his gratitude to his idols and went straight to Twitter.
