LOOK: Comme des Garcons artist reimagines the logos of every NBA team

You may not be too familiar with Filip Pagowski. But for sure, you’ve come across his famous work a number of times. The Polish artist is the guy behind Comme des Garcons’ heart logo. Yup, he came up with that small stitch on that shirt you hand-wash after every use.

In his latest work, reported on High Snobiety, Pagowski has partnered with Nike to re-illustrate the logos of every NBA team.

For this particular collaboration, Pagowski focused on three elements of each team to work with: the team name, the city it represents, and its mascot. Using these three aspects, Pagowski was able to implement the history of each franchise and the facts or associated imagery related to a given nickname into his collection of T-shirts.

The shirts are expected to release on April 19, exclusively through the recently introduced Nike NBA Connected Jerseys. A second release is set for April 21 via the Nike App. Which of these would you cop?
