Earlier this month, it was Metta World Peace that dropped by for a visit to Manila. This time around, Ray Allen will be dropping by to visit the country.
Allen posted on his Instagram account a photo of his boarding pass that showed his next destination to be Manila.
The NBA Champion stopped by Hong Kong as a guest in the Sneaker Con that was held there.
Allen last played in the NBA in 2014 when the Heat were eliminated in the Finals by the San Antonio Spurs. He is regarded as one of the best shooters in the history of the league, amassing a total of more than 3,000 three-pointers made in the regular season and playoffs. Allen announced his retirement from the league in 2016.
There are no details yet as to what Allen will be doing in Manila. It’s interesting to note that his former teammate LeBron James will also be in Manila later this week for the Strive for Greatness Tour.
Looks like Allen has arrived. And because this is Manila, he’s stuck in traffic.
