SLAM: How was your Hong Kong experience?
Kevin Alas: It was a fun journey here in Hong Kong. The first 3 games were very easy as well as the semis. But the finals was a very tough one..
Last 5 minutes,we were behind. Then everyone worked hard to win. It was all heart and hard work in the last quarter.
SLAM: What adjustments did you and the team make from the Dubai tilt to just now in Hong Kong?
KA: Adjustments from Dubai to HK, siguro wala naman masyado, same pa rin, We just improved and learned a lot from our Dubai trip.
SLAM: Describe the impact of PBA veterans Kg Canaleta and Gary David to you and the team?
KA: Malaking impact sila Kuya Gary at Kg because they are veterans, tinuturuan nila ako palagi constantly on and off the court, kaya ang dami kong nakukuha sa kanila. Especially kay Coach Chot din.
SLAM: How does it feel to win the championship and the MVP?
KA: I’m very happy, cause dati dream ko lang to play for the country, to represent the Philippines. Mas happy na ngayon, cause champion na, then yung MVP it’s a bonus, I give all the credit to my teammates and Coach Chot and the staff.
SLAM: What does the future hold for Kevin Alas?
