Coach Aldin Ayo is set to coach a new team for UAAP Season 81.
As reported by Matthew Li of Tiebreaker Times, Coach Ayo has decided to leave the La Salle Green Archers for the UST Growling Tigers.

This report comes at the heels of La Salle issuing a statement of support for Coach Ayo in the next UAAP season. The statement, dated December 20, was made after he committed to be part of the team in a gathering on December 19. Coach Ayo has been non-committal about his future since that point.
Because of his commitment, the Green Archers were already looking forward to the PCCL National Championships with Coach Ayo on board. But the winds changed direction after Christmas and it seems Ayo will be leaving Taft for Espana.
Based on a report by Normie Riego of ABS-CBN Sports, Ayo won’t be going to UST on his own. He will taking Assistant Coaches McJour Luib and Miggy Solitaria with him as he makes his move. Staying behind will be Assistant Coach Louie Gonzales, who was named Interim Head Coach. Ayo is also reportedly bringing with him some players from La Salle.
This move, once finalized, definitely boosts UST’s chances next season. They finished a dismal 1-13 under Coach Boy Sablan in the recently concluded UAAP Tournament. Coach Ayo, who compiled a 38-8 record with DLSU brings with him the Mayhem System as well championship credentials from his stints in the UAAP and NCAA.
The Green Archers will be preparing for the PCCL now under Coach Gonzales. They will be rebooting their program as they lost their head coach and their two-time MVP, Ben Mbala.
