NLEX adds Baguio to an already stacked wing line-up features new acquisitions Carlo Lastimosa, Alex Mallari and Larry Fonacier. The addition of Baguio gives Coach Yeng Guiao more line-up flexibility for his wild and unpredictable roster shuffling. Baguio was a productive player for the Fuel Masters, averaging 24 minutes and 7.4 points per game this conference.
The Fuel Masters added Dyaln Ababou to their roster in exchange for Baguio. Ababou can back-up JC Intal and gives Phoenix another versatile small forward. NLEX gave away Mac Baracael and a future second round pick to the GlobalPort Batang Pier to complete the three-team deal. Both Ababou and Baracel are rarely used players that are looking to find bigger roles with their new teams.
