Most memorable game in past school year: “Noong kalaban namin San Beda noong first round. Crucial na noon tapos lamang sila lima o anim. Naka-three points ako tapos naka-shoot sila. Pero naka lay-up ako na foul-counted pa. Eventually, nahabol namin at nanalo pa kami.”
Guilmer has proven himself in the high school ranks. The Arellano Brave has been named a Mythical Five member in several tournaments. Soon enough, he’ll be tested in a higher environment – the collegiate scene. With him committing to the Arellano Chiefs, there is a lot of reasons why you should get excited. The school has produced excellent guards over the past few years. They’ve graduated two of them – John Pinto and Jio Jalalon – into the PBA. It shouldn’t be long before Kent Salado joins them. When that happens, Dela Torre will be one of the guys next in line.
