Former LA Lakers head coach Byron Scott hated the three-point shot, and as such, it wasn’t really a feature in the offense the team ran last season.
Come 2016-17 though, things expect to be very different, with former Golden State Warriors assistant Luke Walton at the helm. Second overall pick Brandon Ingram is expected to hoist up long-bombs, while free agent signing Luol Deng can help spread the floor too. But one guy who’ll need to up his game in that regard? Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson, and that’s exactly what he’s doing this offseason.

Check out Clarkson expanding his range to just under the half-court line in video posted by super-trainer extraordinaire Drew Hanlen. That’s Curry range!
Last season, Clarkson was just 34.7 percent from distance. If he can boost that number up, even just a bit, then that’ll be a tremendous development for this rising star.
