WATCH: Lakers young guns lead team to sixth win

This was probably what fans were expecting of the 2015-16 LA Lakers.

Yes, Kobe Bryant shot bad anew, but made a big-time conversion late. More importantly, their “kids,” young guns Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle and D’Angelo Russell all played well, and the result was a 112-104 win over the Boston Celtics for win number six of the season.

Clarkson snapped out of his offensive funk to score 24 on 10-of-15 shooting. Russell added 16 with six boards and three dimes, and Randle notched a double-double of 15 markers and 12 caroms.

Those are the sort of numbers that have Lakers fans hopeful that the post-Kobe era won’t be so bad.
